Best moment

I must say that “The Kite runner” was, for me at least, an amazing experience. Even if the book doesn’t have what it takes to be a literary classic, it is, without a shadow of doubt, one of the most enjoying books I have ever read. Today what I would like to ask you all is which moment you consider to be the most magnificent in the book, and why.

In my opinion, if had to choose a best moment in the book, I would say that it was the confrontation between Assef and Amir near the end. I think I’m not exaggerating when I say that I felt as surprised and filled with fear as Amir did when he saw that the man in front of him was his old nemesis, the blond devil Assef. There are a lot of different brilliant moments in the book, but this final confrontation between the two of them was simply breathtaking. I actually think that, although he didn’t appear that much in the book, especially when compared to other characters, Assed was one of the best designed characters in the whole novel. He was a perfect villain, a villain that you love to hate and that every single line and action that he has is on par with other great villains in literature and cinema. Well, now that I revealed which was my favourite moment in the novel it is up to you to tell us yours ;)
